Booking policy.

We value your time and ours, and we kindly ask that you review and agree to the following booking terms. These policies help us ensure fairness and high-quality care for all clients.

1. Agreement Terms

By booking or attending an appointment, you confirm that you understand and agree to this booking policy.

2. Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure certain appointments or treatments.
Deposits are applied toward your treatment cost on the day and are non-refundable for cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows within 24 hours of your appointment.

3. Rescheduling and Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Cancellations, reschedules, or failure to attend within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a $50 fee. This helps us cover the time set aside for you and maintain fair access for all clients.

4. Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, we’ll do our best to accommodate you; however, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled to avoid delaying other clients. If the appointment cannot go ahead due to late arrival, the $50 late cancellation fee may apply.

5. Treatment Suitability

Your suitability for treatment will be determined by your treating practitioner at the time of your appointment. This assessment may include reviewing your medical history, taking clinical photographs, and ensuring you are physically and mentally well enough to proceed safely.

Please note: We generally do not treat clients under 18 years of age. We are unable to provide treatment to anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. In some cases, we may require clearance from our oversight doctors or your GP or specialist before proceeding with treatment.

If you are a new client, or if you are booking for a new treatment, a consultation is required before treatment can be provided - even if you have not specifically booked a consultation.
The consultation fee will apply at this appointment, even if treatment does not proceed on the day.

These measures are in place to ensure your safety and compliance with professional medical standards, in accordance with the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (HPCAA) and Medical Council of New Zealand and NZSCM guidelines.

6. Treatment on the Day

Please note that treatment on the day is not guaranteed. If, in the professional opinion of the practitioner treating you, it is not appropriate to proceed, your safety and wellbeing will always come first.

7. Refunds

Once a service has been provided, refunds are not available unless required under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, (for example where the service was not provided with reasonable care and skill).

8. Consent and Privacy

You may be asked to provide written consent and clinical photographs before treatment. All personal and medical information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and remains strictly confidential.
